The Chevy Silverado 2500 comes with a 6.6L V8 gas engine that generates 401 HP at 5200 rpm and 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. The Silverado 2500 comes with an electronically controlled Allison 10-speed automatic transmission with Tow/Haul mode. Tow/Haul mode decreases your shift cycling and provides better control when towing large cargo loads.

Interior and Seating
Cabin features in the new Silverado 2500 include a 2-speaker audio system, rubberized vinyl floor coverings, power windows, and a 3.5-inch driver information center. There’s seating for three passengers in the regular cab model and six passengers in the crew cab or double cab models. Under the front seat, you’ll find a convenient storage compartment for items you want to keep close by, but out of sight.
